Snake
(Primary)
Arcade survival • mobile

Why: I wish I had made Snake because it creates a deep and enduring game from an extremely small number of rules. The player understands the objective almost immediately: move, collect, grow, and avoid collision. Its most special idea is that every success changes the player’s physical state and makes the next decision more dangerous. The player effectively creates their own obstacle through play. It requires almost no explanation, produces immediate feedback, and supports mastery without complicated controls or systems.
Archero
(Secondary)
Casual action roguelite • Mobile

Why: I wish I had made Archero because it turns a very accessible control scheme into a long-lasting progression game. Each room is short and easy to understand, but the accumulation of upgrade choices makes every run feel increasingly different. It constantly gives the player another nearby objective: clear one more room, receive one more upgrade, reach the next boss, or improve something permanently. It works because the first interaction is simple while the longer-term system has significant depth.
Pac-Man 256
(Tertiary)
Endless arcade maze • Console

Why: I wish I had made Pac-Man 256 because it modernizes an immediately recognizable arcade formula without losing its accessibility. The game communicates movement, collectibles, danger, scoring, and escalation visually. Its isometric presentation, bright effects, expanding chaos, satisfying collection feedback, and constant forward pressure make it easy to understand and enjoyable to watch. It feels energetic from the first few seconds and turns a familiar mechanic into a contemporary arcade spectacle.
