Cannon Blitz Mania-style cannon shooter
(Primary)
hybrid-casual cannon shooter • mobile
Tags: strong_watchability
Why: It turns extremely simple input into constant readable spectacle. The player only moves horizontally, but every hit produces satisfying number feedback. Enemies with visible HP numbers make the goal instantly obvious. The game works because the player always understands: “stand under the target, shoot it until the number reaches zero, dodge or collect what falls.” It is crude, but brutally effective.

Why: It makes progress visible through color. You do not need a tutorial to understand that your color is good and enemy color is bad. It works because the entire battlefield becomes the score: every action changes the map. For Eggio Defense, this gives the shooter a unique purpose beyond killing enemies: keep the farm blue and prevent red corruption from taking over.

Why: It has a simple browser-native progression loop: destroy things, level up, pick simple stat upgrades, immediately feel stronger. The upgrade system is flat and readable: more damage, faster reload, faster movement, more health. That fits Egg.io much better than Archero’s deeper roguelite buildcraft.
